Welcome to RJL Systems

"Biological material is conductive and constantly changing. Bioelectrical impedance analysis (BIA) can measure the electrical properties of living things, and illustrate their changes over time."

Rudy Liedtke

Since 1979, when RJL Systems introduced the first BIA, the company has endeavored to build the most reliable and sensitive instruments to measure living biological materials of all kinds. RJL Systems BIA analyzers are used by thousands of clinicians and researchers every day all over the world. Today the applications of BIA are diverse and range from monitoring healthy weight loss in individuals to predicting the energy density of fish and determining the water content of fruits and vegetables. Furthermore, new applications continue to be developed.

RJL Systems continues to set the standard for accuracy and dependability of devices for the application of BIA sciences. Our product solutions are appropriate for the clinical, research, industrial, and government users of BIA. Our Quantum family of BIA analyzers offers an impressive range of functionality with an ongoing emphasis on reliability and accuracy.

Our commitment to quality has positioned RJL Systems as the gold standard within the field of BIA instrumentation. Furthermore, our nearly 30 years of experience in engineering and manufacturing makes RJL Systems uniquely qualified to deliver "off the shelf", or customized BIA solutions for projects of any size or scope.
